Casino Club at The Greenbrier
The Casino Club at The Greenbrier features an elegant, Monte Carlo-style casino, as well as retail and dining areas. These new amenities complement the resort’s 233-year history and add to the wide array of recreational activities.
The Casino Club, with its refined, tasteful décor, includes table games such as craps, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker varieties and poker tables in addition to slot machines. Champagne is passed nightly, offering a toast of luck to all guests, along with an orginal performance of The Greenbrier Waltz.
Unlike other gaming facilities, the Casino Club is only open to overnight resort guests, members of The Greenbrier Sporting Club and The Greenbrier Golf & Tennis Club as well as attendees of an event or convention staying off-property when more than 400 rooms occupied.
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Friday and Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. - Dress: In keeping with the resort’s time-honored traditions, the Casino Club dress code is dressy casual until 7:00 p.m. Jeans, shorts and t-shirts are not permitted. After 7:00 p.m., a jacket is required for men and dress pants, skirts or dresses for women.
The underground complex is discreetly located beneath the front entrance green space, which is redesigned to include additional landscaping and pedestrian walkways. The award-winning architectural firm, Shope Reno Wharton, known for designing high-end homes and commercial projects such as libraries, museums and golf clubhouses, designed the casino. The interior is designed by Carleton Varney of Dorothy Draper & Company New York, the founder of which is credited for the vibrant restoration and redecoration of the resort in the 1940s.
