The Forum Brings Italian Cuisine to America's Resort

With the inaugural Greenbrier Classic just underway, The Greenbrier celebrated the debut of the resort’s newest restaurant, The Forum, which brings classic Italian cuisine to America’s Resort. This distinctive venue was designed by Carleton Varney, The Greenbrier’s renowned designer and curator, and president of the Dorothy Draper & Company.

“When I bought The Greenbrier last May, I knew we needed a steakhouse and an Italian restaurant, featuring family-style portions and great handmade pizzas,” said Jim Justice, chairman and owner. “Last October we added Prime 44 West, a steakhouse, and we just opened In-Fusion, which features Pacific Rim cuisine. The Forum is the perfect complement to our restaurants with its traditional Italian menu.”

The Forum offers a family-friendly menu, with platters and pizza meant to be shared. The newest addition to The Greenbrier Restaurant Collection features the only coal-fired pizza oven in the state. House specialties include The Forum’s flavorful pizzas, baked four-cheese ravioli and hand-rolled gnocchi along with over 150 wine selections in custom temperature-controlled cabinets. The rich Italian décor, Venetian blue linens and exquisite marble accents, provide an elegant, yet comfortable setting.
