The history of golf in America lies within the generous fairways and undulating greens of the Old White Course at The Greenbrier. The Old White has been host to the greatest golfers in the world, including Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, and Tom Watson. What better way to continue the story than with The Greenbrier Classic – now an official stop on the 2010 PGA TOUR. The Greenbrier is excited to host the PGA TOUR's newest event July 26 - August 1, 2010 as part of the FedExCup Series - giving players and fans alike the opportunity to experience professional golf against the backdrop of this American treasure. From the Ryder Cup in 1979 to the LPGA Solheim Cup in 1994, to the PGA's Champions Tour from 1985-87, The Greenbrier has defined championship golf. It's nice to know that some things never change. We hope to see you at this historic event! |
