Group Tours - The Bunker
The Secret Underground is Revealed.
Visit the formerly top secret Cold War era bunker built under The Greenbrier’s West Virginia Wing. This 112,000-square-foot facility could accommodate 1,100 people and was built for Congress in the event of a national emergency.
Although it was never used, it was maintained in a constant state of readiness for 30 years, and until 1992, its true purpose was a national secret.
The tour is a 90-minute walking tour. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Inclusive tour rates for overnight guests of The Greenbrier are $30 for adults (ages 19 and older) and $15 for children (ages 10-18). No cameras, electronic equipment or cell phones are permitted on the tour. Such items may be secured with the Bunker Office.
